I have a Guest that would like to place an order what should I do? |
Take the money and write a ticket as you would for excursions and then do one of the following:
- Fax us your order using the fax form you have been provided with.
- Visit our website. On the left hand side you will see a tab called “Place an Order”. Click here and complete the on line form. If you enter your e-mail address we will confirm the order back to you by e-mail.
- Ring our office and place the order over the phone. If we are not in the office the phone will switch to our answer machine where you can leave the details. Please remember to leave full details including the ticket number and your phone number in case we have any queries.

When will the flowers be delivered? |
They will be delivered on the day specified by the guide. This should normally be the day prior to departure. If the guest’s flight is in the evening we can deliver before 12 noon on the day of departure, if requested at the time of order. |
How many flowers fit into a box? |
Our boxes can hold a maximum of 30 flowers and 6 leaves. This ensures safe transit to their destination. If a customer requires more flowers or leaves then 2 or more boxes will be required. For example 40 flowers and 8 leaves would be supplied in 2 boxes each containing 20 flowers and 4 leaves and would be priced according to the price list provided. |
A guest placed an order with me but I forgot to place it with you? |
Contact us a soon as you realise on our mobile number 660429234. We will do everything we can to still deliver the order to the hotel in time for the guests departure. On occasions it has been possible to deliver to the airport if the guest has already been collected. |
I placed an order but you didn’t confirm it back to me? |
Experience, and listening to our Customers has shown us that they are very busy and don’t have time to receive a confirmation call every time an order has been placed. We therefore don’t confirm orders as standard (with the exception of orders placed on the website/email). If you would like your order to be confirmed please state this at the time of order and we would be pleased to do this for you. |
What days do you deliver? |
We deliver 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) 52 weeks a year. Whilst we ask that as much notice is given as possible we guarantee that all orders placed before 11am can be delivered before 5 pm the same day if required. |
What delivery area do you cover? |
Our normal delivery area extends from El Medano to Los Gigantes (including the South Airport). If you require delivery outside of this area please ring us to discuss your requirements. |
How long do the flowers last once the guest reaches home? |
This will depend on how closely the guest follows the care instructions but should be in the region of 3 to 4 weeks. |
If they are delivered the day before departure and then it takes another day for the guest to reach their destination then surely the flowers will die without water |
No. Unlike normal flowers Strelitzia’s can last at least 3 or 4 days in the box without water. Once home the guest should follow the care instructions supplied in the box. |
After 6 days the flowers look dead but I followed the care instructions what have I done wrong? |
Probably nothing. Each flower lasts in the region of 5 to 6 days. Once the flower dies follow the care instructions by removing the dead flower and prizing open a new flower from the pod. This flower will then also last 5 to 6 days. Repeat this process until the pod is empty. |
I have a guest with a Wedding Anniversary whilst on holiday. Do you supply bouquets? |
Yes. What better way of celebrating a Birthday or anniversary than with fresh Strelitzia’s completely different to the run of the mill flowers normally available? Bouquets start at 16 euros delivered to the hotel reception in the morning of the special date. Please ring to discuss your particular requirements and size of bouquet required? |
I have guests that would like to a bouquet only a few days before they go home and they don’t want to throw the flowers away? |
No problem for a small extra charge we can supply a box when the bouquet is delivered for the flowers to be packed in prior to departure. |
My guests want the bouquet to be really special, what do they look like? |
Pictures of our standard bouquets can be found at our web site www.gesflor.com. Normally the flowers are supplied with 2 or 3 leaves, plastic wrapping, floristry ribbon and a blank floristry card so that a special message can be written. If you supply the wording we can write the card for you prior to delivery. |
My guests would like a Strelitzia bouquet but require something other than the standard bouquet can you help? |
Depending on the request and notice given yes. Ring to discuss your particular requirements. |
Strelitzia’s are lovely but my guests would prefer a bouquet of other flowers can you help? |
Normally yes. Whilst we always have Strelitzia’s in stock we are able to order in other flowers if required. As much notice is required as possible so that we can order in the freshest flowers for your arrangement. Call for further details and discuss specific requirements. |
